Description: These Genuine Herkimer Diamond crystals all come from our private mine, Treasure Mountain in Little Falls, NY. This current selection of rough all comes from our 2020 season as this material sells out very fast. All rough comes from the "Fire Pit" dig on the west end of our property. This is our rough Herkimer material, consisting of broken crystals, broken chunks of crystals, crystals with lots of contact to matrix. Crystals can be included with other associated minerals like pyrite or carbon. These are crystals that are a grade below b and c, too broken to sell as single specimens. That being said there are some pretty nice crystals in these lots still, but please do not expect them. I try to accommodate request for large chunks or small pieces to an extent, but this material sells very fast and sometimes we cannot accommodate specific requests. All orders will receive a mix of what we have in stock at the time of purchase unless specified. This material is sold by the POUND, so a quantity of 1 is 1Lb etc. I included a few pictures of what a pound looks like on the scale to give you an idea. This material is great for fish tanks, for putting alot window sills, or in plant pots. People use them in masonry work for an affordable special touch. You can grind them down into a powder to use in orgonite or for bio-dynamic gardening.
