Description: This is a custom handmade replacement tan elastic sling and is a very close match in material and color to the original 1964 era GI Joe Garand rifle. Sling comes complete with rings and will bring your riffle back to displayable condition. Picture #3 is courtesy of another collector who purchased my first slings and sent me the photo (top is M1 with new sling compared to bottom M1 with original sling). Replace that string or thread someone creatively used in lieu of the original elastic sling with a new custom elastic one. Most all original slings if present have outstretched from the rubber deteriorating. Many have been sold with great feedback.
