Description: I bought this guitar from Makin' Music in Chicago new, back in 2001, I played it as my main guitar for 12 straight years, before going back to Strat. I had a Gibson expert and collector with me when I picked the guitar from an array of 6 Gold Tops in stock at the store. This guitar was picked because it had the most natural sustain, and it played the best. The fact that it was the heaviest of the guitars helps explain why the sustain was so impressive. The guitar has it's share of little dings, wear on the back of the neck (just the finish), and looks like it has been played. It has, but it still plays and sounds fantastic. I still use the guitar in my studio here and there, but this guitar should be played and heard! Please contact me for additional information or photos.
