Item Description Gibson SJ Deluxe 1973-1975 (1970s) The SJ Deluxe can be said to be the successor to the Southern Jumbo. This is an early 70's model produced at the Kalamazoo factory, where Gibson's acoustics were produced in small quantities.This model features the typical square shoulders, double X bracing, and small block inlays. Spruce top, mahogany sides and back, 3-piece mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, 645mm scale, 43mm nut width, and Kluson pegs. A dry and responsive sound that makes you feel 50 years old. The specs of the guitar make it sound a little modern, but it has a very pleasant sound with a mature sound that you can't get from a new guitar. Bring it to play jaka jaka. This is a one-owner item, and you can see that it has been used with care. There are vertical crack repair marks along the pickguard, which is common on guitars of this era, on the 1st string side of the fingerboard and across the sound hole. It has been properly corrected with an internal patch, so you can use it with confidence. Although the nut and saddle have been replaced, everything remains original, and the included hard shell case is also original. Nut replaced, string height adjusted and back bracing lifted. The neck is straight, and the string height is 2.5mm for the 6th string and 1.9mm for the 1st string. A good specimen with a tight and powerful sound.
