Hummel Plate # 746 - "Wash Day" Miniature Collectors' Plate - New Open Box! - 4" in Diameter - Goebel Missing Bee Trademark (TMK-6) - Master Painter Signed - Second Issue of the "Little Homemakers" Series - Goebel Survey Card & Hummel Club Pamphlet Included - Closed Edition HUM 746 Wash Day - TMK-6 Diameter 4" This series was first issued in 1988 as a four part bisque-porcelain "M.I. Hummel" miniature plate series called the "Little Homemakers." Each is a limited production plate that was produced for one year only. Modeled by master sculptor Gerhard Skrobek in 1986. A matching figurine was released each year as an open edition to coincide with each plate. The original issue price was $45 in 1988, $50 for this 1989 plate and the 1990 plate and $70 in 1991. The year "1987" is centered underneath trademark. Stamped "SECOND EDITION IN A SERIES OF FOUR HANDPAINTED NOT TO BE USED FOR FOOD Hum 746 The M.I. Hummel "LITTLE HOMEMAKERS" 1988-1991" in blue on backside of plate. Hummel plate matches the catalog's listed circumference of 4". Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black on underside of base, located to the right of TMK-6 stamp. Comes with Goebel Survey card and Hummel Club Pamphlet with Enrollment Form inside.
