Description: You are bidding on this Antique Solid Wood Chest of Drawers with Detachable Etched Mirror. The chest of drawers has a beautiful veneer finish, with gorgeous grain and come carved accent details. There are quite a few scuffs and light surface scratches and dings on the piece. I am unsure of its actual age, or manufacture. It has three drawers, all quite large, and a detachable etched mirror with a wooden back. The mirror is loose from the wooden backing but could be reattached easily with some mirror hooks. The chest of drawers has a gorgeous multi-directional veneer finish that gives it an amazing, gorgeous appeal, and it has the original brass hardware. The posts that would attach the mirror to the chest are missing, but again, easily replaced. The drawers have dovetail joints. There is some small veneer loss on the feet of the piece. The chest of drawers is 35" tall, 44" long, and 20" to 22" wide, front to back. There is a small carved decorative piece at the top of the mirror that has come off, but the screws are still present and it could easily be put back in place. The mirror is an unusual round shape that really gives the piece a rare and unique appeal. The mirror has a beautiful etched pattern in it, and is about 34" tall, 37" tall with the wooden backing, and 40.5" wide at the base, where it would sit on the top of the chest.
