GORGEOUS LARGE 1920’S ART DECO CELLULOID RHINESTONE FLOWER HAIR COMB

Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION:Earlier this year, I bought a large collection of antique hair combs and ornament that belonged to a life long “known” collector. Many of her combs are on internet reference sights and books as well. This is one of several that I will be offering on ebay. This beautiful ornate comb was made in France in the 1920’s. It is 6 1/4” long x 7” wide and is made from translucent yellow celluloid with black tinting. The flared top is intricately pierce cut and carved with lattice and flower designs set with clear rhinestones. The celluloid is quite flexible and does not show any signs of degradation often seen in these pieces. A few of the clear rhinestones are dark with age, but overall, the comb is in good condition. ***Please note that my camera is cobalt blue and often makes polished surfaces look dark due to the reflection on the metal surface.*** SHIPPING:First class shipping, insurance, and handling in the US is $8. I am happy to ship multiple auction wins in the same package at the actual cost plus insurance. International shipping is through ebay’s global shipping program. I try my best to wrap all items securely, and to ship in a timely fashion. Once the item is wrapped, a shipping label is created, and the tracking number is provided on ebay. I personally have my packages scanned by the post office before they obtain possession. Please refrain from asking for tracking information or for photos of the wrapping process as all of these requests delay the progress in shipping your item and others.
