Grateful Dead June 10, 1973 Poster - Very Rare

Description: Large! Grateful Dead RFK '73 Poster - Very Rare - printed backwards! Bought in early/mid '70s. They figured out that it was printed backwards and quickly reissued the poster oriented correctly - one of my pictures shows both this backwards poster and one (not for sale in this listing) that's printed correctly. I have two other copies (bought in the '70s) of the printed-correctly version that I am listing as separate listings on eBay. One is still in the original shrink-wrap plastic tube and does not appear to have been crushed/crumpled in the 45-50 years I've had it. There's a tear in Phil's shirt, repaired with Scotch Tape on back as shown. Corners a bit dog-eared & some thumbtack holes; minor creasing along edges. Shows some wear, but it's in pretty good shape, considering I've kept it since the '70s. A few photos from RFK 6/10/73 (not for sale) confirm show date. Shipped rolled in sturdy tube. 50th Anniversary of this show was on Saturday June 10. It was a true classic, one of the few shows with both a 'Bird Song' and a 'Here Comes Sunshine', two '73 highlights. Recently released in a box set. The Dead played RFK on a double bill with the Allman Brothers. The day before (6/9/73) the Dead opened and the Allmans followed. On Sunday the 10th the Dead played second and there were a few tunes with players from both bands at the end. It was my 18th show and by far my largest Dead venue to date. General Admission; people went where they wanted. The vandalism set was up in the nosebleed balcony heaving glass bottles down onto the field. And there were narcs in the skyboxes with binoculars scouting for drug dealers... but musically, it was, and is, a superlative show! Shipping to lower 48 continental US states only.
