GREECE 1987 1000 Drachmae Banknote, Ancient Themes: Coin, Apollon & Discobolus

I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is one of many World banknotes I am listing from the accumulation of a World traveler who just stuffed them in a jar upon return to her Aventura penthouse condominium. Condition varies, please see all photos and the description. Most are intact with no pieces missing but all will have some degree of circulation. (These are NOT printer remainders or demonetized unissued banknotes sold in bulk to retailers like Littleton for their packets and approvals.) Major tears, holes or missing chunks will be described so read the description in addition to examining all photos. "Condition" and "grade" is otherwise subjective. THIS is a banknote of Greece from 1987. It has many folds and some rust. Lots of ancient subject matter including a tetradrachm coin of Olympia, the discobolus by Myron, the Temple of Hera, a bust of Apollo and a watermark with the charioteer Polyzalos of Delphi. Significant flaws not depicted in the photos are described here-with, minor flaws and normal wear are not. Unless the item is described as new, assume there will be minor flaws or wear commensurate with a used item of given age. If Free Shipping is offered it will be by the cheapest method possible, for books that will be Media Mail.
