Description: This is a really neat, unique piece of American military postal history! It's a sepia PC(extremely clean, and with very little wear and tear on it) from Greensburg, Indiana, U.S., to Peking(a pretty fine, receiving CDS from the I.J.P.O. in Peking!), China, on November 11, 1909! The addressee was a soldier in the U.S. Legation Guard, an Alvin E. Miller! The sender was someone by the name of A.A. Cooper, and, considering the tone(frustration with the soldier not writing more often!) of the message, seems to have been a woman. Outside of what looks like some gum residue around some of its perfs, the pair of green, 1-Cent, "Franklins," is in fine condition! Simply put, this is a really nifty piece of American military postal history connected to its presence in China in 1909!
