It also includes information on how to prepare and host a luau. The book is filled with lots of great vintage illustrations and black and white photos. The book was published for the Hawaii State Society of Washington, D.C., and features a foreword signed by the two U.S. Senators and two Members of Congress from Hawaii serving at the time of first publication. First edition, 5th printing, 1968. In good used condition. Page are crisp and clean, with slight sunning on the edges of some pages. Inscription in ink on first title page; pages otherwise unmarked. Three of the "teeth" have broken off the upper end of the plastic comb binding, but pages are otherwise securely bound; one crack in the binding.
