Description: Heathkit ID-1290 / ID-1590 Wind-Cup alternative We have scoured the planet to try to find replacement wind cups for your ID-1290 or the ID-1590. We have finally found a suitable substitute for these wind cups. We have purchased inventory from another manufacturer and have been able to modify their wind cups to fit the Heathkit weather booms with the 'reed switches'. These will not work on the ID-4001 or ID-5001 which we also DO have wind cups for as well. These are not exactly the same design as the originals, but we have put the modified version on both the ID-1290 and the ID-1590 and found that they work very well. The radius of the wind cup arms are the same size as the originals so calibration is with-in the range on both kits. Each wind cup comes in a box with instructions for installing on your Heathkit. Cups are shipped via USPS 1st Class Mail. Multiple cups will be shipped seperately (they do not fit into the Flat Rate packs).
