Description: Item is in VERY GOOD Condition. It has very little shelf wear, even for an older paperback. The pages inside are in very good shape with no highlighting, marks, or writing; no dog-earing or bent pages. The laminated cover is in good shape with no scratches or tears; minimal to no fraying along the edges, but there is a bit more wear on the bottom edges and the crown and foot of the spine from shelf rubbing.No bumped corners. There is a light crease along the spine on the front on the left, and a light crease along the spine, but the spine is NOT broken; the spine binding is tight, no loose pages, and in good shape (please see pictures as they are part of the description). Overall in very good condition. This contains the journal entries, observations, and memories of women travelers/pioneers/settlers on the overland routes to California and the west in the 1800's. A valuable resource for Women's studies and women's point of view in this era of westward movement.
