Description: Hard to find early postwar Wards Hawthorne stamped New Departure model D 36 hole coaster brake rear hub. Interestingly and the main improvement over prior models is the driver which accepts snap ring held cogs, in this case a 1"-10T. I don't know how long ND produced these drivers and cogs but I've seen them both in half inch and 1 inch pitch and I can confirm that Bendix cogs of this type also fit. Hub has had an exterior degreasing and is sold as is, as found and untested for parts or repair. I can issue partial refunds for combined shipping after payment upon request.
