Description: JABO Tribute to Legacy MarbleCaramel OxbloodMINT -Run Date: 11/16/09 This Tribute to Legacy run by JABO is one of group or "Super Set" of multiple JABO runs all giving tribute to various important attributes to the marble makers. There is Tribute to Friendship, Tribute to Last Dance, What a Tribute and others. Maybe it would be fun to collect a signature marble from each of these runs. In any case, this run had some very interesting marble names related to trucks...yes, I said trucks. Jeff Hall was the Tribute member on Legacy who made the JABO trucks...thus the truck nicknames. Another interesting story revolves around a Vietnam aircraft with the name Stratofortress. This particular marble has the most interesting and unique glass coloring design. There is this outstanding deep velvety red oxblood color that seems to have so much depth to it. The caramel colored glass is the perfect complement to the deep oxblood and these two colors create a marriage of pigments like no other marble I have seen before...just spectacular. Just take a look at these pictures and I think you will agree...amazing. This is another one of those marbles run you won't see much on eBay. I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. This marble was made on the 3/4" marble machine and it measures 0.733" in diameter with a pair of electronic calipers. Note: the downgrade from mint is due to an extremely shallow crease that is almost impossible to photograph. You can't see if it the naked eye, but if you look hard and feel with your thumbnail, you will most likely be able to find it. If you were not looking for it, you probably wouldn't find it.
