"Jesus" Roses & Vintage Roses from Upcycled Book Pages! Unique Gifts!

Description: Offered for your consideration are upcycled book page roses, with braided, copper-colored welding wire stems! I purchased a large collection of books from the historic McKenzie Church library in Clarksville, Texas, and have repurposed some of the material from that collection of religious, motivational, and inspirational literature into these pieces. I am taking orders for the large $5 ones and smaller $3.50 ones. Purchase a single rose or a few dozen and personalize them as suggested below. These are great for Christmas, and what I like to do is have the buyer pick a favorite word, or words, something relative to why the purpose of the purchase. For example, maybe your loved one's favorite Christmas words are: "Christmas," "family," and "joy." I will then create the piece, including those words on upcycled book pages. It makes the roses exceedingly personal, thoughtful, and unique for gift giving! The images of the multi-colored rose are utilizing photos from the book about the movie, Jesus of Nazareth, all including images of Jesus Christ. The smaller black roses were made by me from a 1930s autograph book that included vintage white ink inscriptions. The autographs were obviously removed, but I repurposed the empty pages. I even left the old photograph corner tabs for texture. One of the "Ag" teachers where I taught and coached was disposing of some copper-coated welding wire a few years ago. I acquired two spools from him and braided it to use as the stems of the roses. The "sky is the limit" as far as buyer creativity here.
