Description: JHB International (Denver, Colorado) was founded in 1969, by Jean Howard Barr. She was known as “The Button Lady” of JHB, which she founded and made into a large business. This sample card reveals a line of every day buttons sold under the JHB umbrella. All of the original (120) Buttons remain attached & in wonderful condition. The card measures approx. 11" W x 14" L, perfect for framing & crafts.In 2009, Mrs. Barr died and her son, then took the business over. In 2014, the company was sold to Blumenthal Lansing Co. Sample cards are a type of visual/tactile catalog, which were used by the vendors/representatives, to show the various products that were available for the business owner to order/offer to their customers. Originally, they would have been pages, held in a vendor's binder.
