A. ( 1796-1864 ) and published by H. G. Moon, London during the years 1841-1849. Highly regarded for their accuracy these lithographs of Middle Eastern 19th century architecture and culture are unique and highly collectable. One smaller later edition lithograph. Each in poor to fair condition with extensive foxing and rough edges/tears. Pinholes in corners of the images, used to register the plate in the first edition. Some with original prices in pencil in corner stating $350+. Most are folded in half and the crease is tearing through in places. Some are taped to mat windows.
