Description: This is a rare January 23rd, 1950 program (playbill) from the one-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the CHARLES GAYNOR musical revue "LEND AN EAR" at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut. (The production opened December 16th, 1948 at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City and ran for 460 performances before going on the road.) ..... The show starred JOHN BEAL and featured DOROTHY BABBS, ELLEN HANLEY, JENNY LOU LAW, WILLIAM SKIPPER, GLORIA HAMILTON, RAY ARNETT, AL CHECCO, PETER CONLOW, ROBERT DIXON, GLORIA EVANS, GARY FLEMING, ANTOINETTE GUHLKE, HAL HACKETT, MARGARET JEANNE, SYBIL LAMB, SID LAWSON, FLORENCE LORD, CALVIN LOWELL, RICA OWENS and TAFI TOWERS ..... The other two pages are an ad for New Haven's Chamberlain's Furniture ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a light fold across the middle and minor edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
