Description: This auction is for seven (7) Variant Covers to the Justice League United series that was released by DC Comics in 2014. All of these issues deal with the new Justice League United team with Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Stargirl, Supergirl, Equinox, Animal Man, Green Arrow and the husband and wife team of Adam and Alanna Strange getting involved in an interstellar incident. They are all written by Jeff Lemire with interior art by Neil Edwards, Mike McKone, Jed Dougherty and Jay Leisten and guest-starred current and past members of the Legion Of Super-Heroes as well as Hawkman and Adam Strange as they take on Overmaster, who makes his first appearance in issue #6, and the Cadre. There is Justice League Unity #0 that comes with the Blank Variant Cover but has the regular under it with art by Mike McKone. This issue is the first appearance of Miiyabin Marten who will become Equinox and use her Cree based powers to battle evil like Lord Byth who also makes his first appearance in this issue. Issue #3 comes with the Mario Alberti Variant Cover that celebrates the 75th Anniversary of Batman with Stargirl, Adam Strange and Martian Manhunter standing in front of Batman. Issue #6 comes with the Lego Variant Cover with Martian Manhunter, Supergirl and Stargirl bursting out of the cover. There is also issue #7 that comes with the incredible Darwyn Cooke Variant Cover with the team heading into battle while issue #8 celebrates the 75th Anniversary of the Flash with art by Karl Kerschl with a parody of the classic cover to Mystery In Space #60 by Carmine Infantino. Issue #9 comes with the Harley Quinn Variant by Mikel Janin with the Clown Princess Of Crime painting over a poster of the Justice League United team. Finally, there is the Lenticular Variant Cover to Justice League United Future's End #1 that changes from the current team to how the team will appear in 5 years.
