Neck is straight - been screwed and glued. Plays well. Please notice - pickup volume and tone are fixed at fully open. The knobs do not turn. You will control volume and tone on the amp you are using. Also, top has cuts near knobs, I have used a leatherette cover at that point for cosmetic use. See last two pics.
