Description: GREAT APATITE CRYSTALS FROM GERMANY!! Very interesting & historic piece of purple apatite crystals up to about 1 cm on matrix from the classic locality Greifenstein Rocks, near Ehrenfriedersdorf, Ore Mts., Saxony, Germany. The crystals are partly ingrown and not free developed, but have a good color. Nice and large sample of this histroric location. The piece comes with an old german handwritten label. This is from deep in my personal collection, and I am allowing the sale of very prized pieces. Enjoy! Sharp apatite XLS. on matrix, very historic specimen! Old labels accompany this specimen. The size of the specimen is 8" (20 cm) by 3" (7.5 cm) by 2" (5 cm), a large cabinet sized Museum specimen. Great to add to a competitive display.
