This specimen is an excellent example of a Plumbogummite XLS (fl. blue/green SW) with Pyromorphite XLS (fl. orange SW) from Yangshou Mine, Yangshou County, Guilin Prefecture, Guangxi Zhang Autonomous Region, China. FANTASTIC example of these species from this locale! This is plumbogummite replacing pyromorphite crystals with a good mix of the two species. Good white light specimen. Rare crystal combinations. Displays wonderfully. The size of the specimen is 5-1/2" (13.8 cm) by 3-1/2" (8.8 cm) by 3" (7.5 cm), a nice sized LARGE CABINET crystal specimen. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS OPPORTUNITY. This outstanding specimen is in the top of pieces for the find, and is a very aesthetic group of barrel-shaped pyromorphite crystals which have been mostly replaced by blue plumbogummite. The color is exceptional for the species and find, and the crystals form divergent sprays which seem to radiate out from many different points, creating an overall look that is visually-stunning. It is rare to find a mineral specimen that is both aesthetically exceptional and rare, and this contemporary Chinese classic.
