One is manufactured by KEM, the original 100% plastic playing cards; the other is unmarked but we believe may be Whitman as that is the case it came in, but are uncertain. Cards are overall in acceptable condition, some may be a bit faded or discolored, have surface scratches some missing cards and a few noticeable defects, no noticeable bends. *Please note missing cards for Flamingo Deck: All Jokers, 4 Clubs, 2 Hearts are Missing, Ace of Diamonds cut along top left corner. Whitman: Missing King of Spades and All Jokers. Please contact KEM for replacement card(s). You will be receiving the 2 incomplete card decks, carrying case. No returns accepted on this auction. The design on the Ace of Spades was copyrighted in 1935 when the cards were being first produced; the easy way to determine when a particular Kem deck was printed is a number that can be found below and to the left of the face on the Ace of Spades. This number is either a 3 or 4 digits long; e.g."259" or "1270". Prior to 2004, the first one to to digits indicates the MONTH the deck was printed, while the last two digits indicates the YEAR the deck was printed. For example on these decks, the number is "858" indicating an August, 1958 manufacturing date. We can offer discounts on multiple auction items won, please contact us for more details.
