Description: Spring type (pager style) belt clip with screws for your Kenwood TH-D72A. No modifications needed as this clip fits perfectly and comes with screws as well. Also fits ICOM IC-R10. I use this on my own D72 and love it. I hate the terrible belt clip thing that Kenwood provided, so I found this and have been using it for a long time. My buddies have asked if I am selling it. So many have asked that now I am providing it to those who also hate that junk clip that Kenwood provides. Why didn't Kenwood provide this in the first place? Shown pictured on my 1.5" wide belt. Fits up to 1 7/8" width belt. Low profile so it does not add much thickness to the radio and keeps it close to the belt. When you hold it in your hand, it also does not add much bulk. I have small hands and have no problem holding the radio with the belt clip on. No problem taking the battery off or putting one back on with this neat little clip installed. Also works well clipped on a pocket or backpack or strap. The spring is nice and tight (firm) which is a good feature to have. While anybody can lose or break anything, I have never had any problems with this clip holding my radio. Will this fit any other radio? I don't know but if you buy it to try on anything other than the specified radio, you are completely on your own for fit and purpose. I apologize to those with a brain, but experience has shown that I MUST make this statement: The RADIO is NOT included! Nope, for $8.95 you DO NOT get the radio! What do you get?
