Kenwood TS-790A Ham Radio Transceiver + DC Cable (needs work, please read)

Description: This Kenwood TS-790A is in relatively good cosmetic condition. There really aren�t many scuffs/scratches (a few on one side), but the sub-RX display is a little dim. Unfortunately, the radio has problems. On UHF, it's receiving OK but only putting out about 12 watts. On VHF, the RX is pretty weak and we're not getting any power out. With this in mind, it's being sold as-is for parts or repair. Please note that no internal options are installed. The sale includes a DC power cable, but a microphone is not included. SHIPPING/PACKAGING: All orders ship within one business day. We use only premium packaging materials and have invested in a $5000 foam-in-place system. The bottom line is this... you'll receive your item on time and in perfect condition regardless of how big, heavy, or delicate your item may be! Your item will ship with one of three carriers: USPS, FedEx, or UPS. If you have a preference regarding which carrier is used, please let us know before completing the purchase.
