The box is older but still in good shape so I reinforced it all around with fiber tape so that it is very strong to keep the heater secure and safe during shipping! Pictures 7-9 Heaters top view, back view and side view are shown in these 3 pictures. The TOP VIEW shows the top where heat is expelled through the slots along the top and also the top has a center area where a pot or kettle can be placed for adding water to steam to add moisture back into the room that kerosene heaters naturally take away!! Open tops like this were very convenient and no longer available on the newer heaters being sold today. Great for emergency cooking too!! On the right side is the trap door, that opens up to allow the removable tank to be inserted. When inserted, the valve of the tanks cap will allow fuel to enter into the bottom tank through the filter as the center post pushes the caps release button. The fuel level indicator on the tank is shown through the window on the front of the heater. The SIDE VIEW shows the carrying handles, that are on both sides, that allow you to carry this heater from room to room. There is no need to take the heater outside for refueling because of the convenient removable tank can be removed and fueled while the heater stays in place. This is very convenient and a plus over the heaters that require to be taken outside. The BACK VIEW shows the bottom area is where 2 "D" batteries (not included) are installed to operate the push button electronic igniter located in the front of the heater. Electric Push Button ignition is very convenient and safe!! Notice the slots along the top of the back. These are for air flow intake for proper operation of the heater and the reason to keep the heater approximately 12" away from the wall. All manufacturers labels are in the back and side of the heater.Notice there is a stain spot on the top of the heater that appears to be a spill over from the previous owner. I cleaned this area and the stain is still there but this is only cosmetic and doesn't effect the performance of the heater in any way! Pictures 10-11 ANOTHER IMPORTANT PICTURE FOR BUYING ANY KEROSENE HEATER IS THE INSIDE OF HEATER TANK. THE INSIDE MUST BE PERFECT.... Completely Rust Free, Corrosion Free, and Contamination Free!! NO OTHER SELLER SHOWS YOU THIS. This picture shows this heaters base tank interior that is in BRAND NEW CONDITION with no contamination. Inside was cleaned and scrubbed to remove any old kerosene that may have been inside. CLEAN throughout and was scrubbed and inspected all around inside and out. Other sellers do not do this!! NOTICE the exceptionally clean top post that is as clean as a whistle. Top post must be cleaned of any contamination, because this is where the air flows through to give proper combustion for these heaters and a dirty center post will omit foul odors into the house!! NOTICE that every part of this heater was removed for cleaning and their rubber gaskets cleaned and inspected. BOTH TANKS (INTERIOR AND REMOVABLE) are absolutely perfect and appears to be like BRAND NEW!! Wick Adjuster is like new and exceptionally clean and the large rubber gasket is perfect. This rubber gasket is designed to keep kerosene secure inside the tank to prevent any leakage outside. This part is 100% perfect!! Also notice the BRAND NEW WICK, BRAND NEW IGNITER that were installed. This is now good for another 50 years!! Except for yearly wick change which is a snap with this heater because this heater take a wick with pins and installs easily in minutes and the pins align the wick perfect for height adjustment. . This is a very easy kerosene heater to replace a wick into. Notice the fuel filter is in BRAND NEW CONDITION!! Shown here is the fuel acceptance filter that shows absolutely no signs of wear and in BRAND NEW SHAPE!! This part is very important to have in excellent shape because the center post of this filter releases the fuel from the removable tank through the cap's recessed valve that, when inserted into the filter, will release the fuel to fill the bottom tank to supply the wick. The fuel will fill the bottom tank and automatically stop the flow when the tank is full. The purple color of the filter is exactly what a brand new filter looks like!! Pictures 12 - 13 Bottom Drip Tray is in AWESOME SHAPE. SOLID, STRONG AND NO HOLES. Bottom Drip Tray's take more abuse then any other part of the heater because they are moved around and get scratched and also many people store these in damp basements or garages that cause rust holes BUT NOT IN THIS CASE!! This heater was stored properly by the previous owner in the original box and therefore there was no rust or holes and is solid as a rock!! The bottom drip tray is designed to seat under the heater and held in place with the 5 small screws, which are easily removed if you need to clean or repaint the tray. The tray is just slightly larger than the heaters base tank to catch any spilled kerosene, and as a stable base for the heater. Check out the pictures carefully and you will see minor scratches on the tray from normal use. The scratches are not bad or I would have repainted this part, like I do with other heaters, but this was not bad enough for that. I am mainly concerned that this bottom tray is in perfect shape and strong to last a long time!! This view is the bottom side of the drip tray and the top side has some paint missing but can be easily painted if desired. Pictures of the top side is seen in the top/front view in picture #13. This can easily be painted with Rustoleum if desired but this is only cosmetic because the bottom tray is solid all around. The stain can be seen on this top view also but again...is only cosmetic. Pictures 14-17 Pictured is an Awesome Appearing Heat Chamber that is in perfect condition that was dismantled and thoroughly cleaned!! Completely cleaned inside and out. All air port holes are clean and free flowing for proper combustion and air flow. This part requires a complete and thorough cleaning to prevent old kerosene odors and smoke from ruining your home. Never buy a used kerosene heater that hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in the heat mantle or fuel tank. BOTH are necessary to prevent problems for the new owner. NOTICE that I am showing the inside of the heat chambers mantle because this is where you will find the contamination that will make your heater smell and smoke. Very important that this is completely clean!! Other sellers only show you the nice shinny top! Not Me...It's the inside that counts! THIS PART MUST BE 100% CLEAN OF ALL CONTAMINATION TO PREVENT ODORS AND SMOKE! I make sure my heaters are perfect when customers receive them. It is very important to have a clean burning and efficient kerosene heater. Old, unseen, contamination builds up over years and need to be removed. I do this to every heater.
