Description: Kestrel 200 SCi Carbon Road Bike with Dura-Ace - VGC - 57cm This early 2000's vintage Kestrel 200 SCi is a made in the USA model with a one piece graphite (monocoque) carbon frame and EMS composite fork (also made in the USA). The drivetrain is full Shimano Dura-Ace 2x9. This bike is lightweight and the feel of carbon can’t be explained, it must be experienced to understand. The wheels are not a match, but are still true and strong. The frame also features internal cable routing and the rear stays keep the bike efficient with a racy-feel. The original MSRP was $2850, so our gently used unit here is a real bargain. The purple finish still shines and looks great. With a 56 cm effective top tube and 57 cm (center to center) seat tube, this bike should fit most riders in the 5’10" to 6'1" range. The bike is equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace cranks, Dura-Ace derailleurs, Dura-Ace brakes, Dura-Ace headset, Dura-Ace shifters/brake levers, Fizik Pave saddle, Thomson Elite seatpost, Deda Murex stem, original Shimano aero rear wheel, Bontrager Race front wheel and Continental Grand Prix 4 Season 700x23c tires. (used, overall this Kestrel is a classic and is in very nice condition overall for a bike of this vintage. There are a couple of minor cosmetic blemishes here and there, normal for a bike of this age. Upon proper re-assembly by a qualified mechanic, the bike should be ready to ride.
