Most of the Mach3 keyboard commands,(all of the useful ones) are accessible on the mini controller using one hand and its thumb. The M3-KE brings the convenience of a keyboard to your work without the interference of a large keyboard in the wrong place. The M3-KE is easy to use, clearly marked, and small enough to use with one hand. Puts full Mach3 control in your hand close to where you want to be. 1) Two 5-way joy-switches: control for X++, X--, Y++, Y--, Z++, Z--, A++, A--. Emulates the arrow keys, Page UP, Page Down, F10, and F11. 2) One Mode button: Provides Three states for the arrow keys; SHIFT, Normal, and CTRL. Used in conjunction with the 5-way switches, each axis can be moved FAST, SLOW, and Step-Jog. The LEDs are sequenced with the Mode button. The LEDs clearly indicate the control characteristics of the Joy-switches. 3) Eight Control buttons for the most frequently used Mach3 functions; REWIND, HOME, FLOOD Toggle, SPINDLE Toggle, SINGLE-STEP Toggle, STOP, PAUSE, and RUN. 4) Step-Jog function has both single step and auto-repeat feature (not found on any standard keyboard). This allows for moving the axis quickly and precisely to the desired position. 5) A++ is F11 (Feed Rate Faster), and A-- is F10 (Feed Rate Slower). 6) Plug-and-play. No special wiring or drivers needed. The M3-KE emulates a standard USB keyboard. ---------------------------- Note: For proper operation, Mach3 hand-wheel (TAB) must be set up to be Jog Mode = Continuous. Slow Jog Rate should be about 25%, and Cycle Jog Step should be set to about 0.025mm (0.001") or as desired by user. This item is a fully user programmable universal keyboard emulator. Each button or switch can emulate up to three 15-key-stroke macros. There are 60 programmable macros, and 54 of them can be accessed directly. The remaining macros can be concatenated to primary macros to create longer macros. When it is connected to a PC, it attaches both as a keyboard and a serial device. In normal use, only keyboard emulation is used. The serial port is for user programming. A help menu informs the user of its function and features, offers a sample programming file, and a command list. It can be user programmed line-by-line or the whole device at one time. The sample program file will program the unit as a Mach3 specific keyboard emulator and pseudo hand wheel. The preprogrammed Mach3 command set is listed in the specifications. A terminal/monitor program will be needed for communication to the USB serial device at 115200 BAUD. This device also supports basic mouse moves and clicks. This timing can be user programmed. 4) The Auto-repeat feature timing can be user programmed. 5) Because it emulates a keyboard, programs other than Mach3 will respond to its use if they have focus, and may cause unpredictable results.6) In addition to the standard keyboard functions, the emulator has programmable auto-repeat and delay.
