KRAMER STRYKER 1985, XLNT 22 FRET NECK, FLOYD ROSE w/BRASS BLOCK, GROVER TUNERS!

Description: 1985 Kramer Stryker 300ST and very good condition. A gorgeous 22 fret rosewood fingerboard neck with medium jumbo frets is in fabulous condition and is worth the price of the admission alone! Floyd Rose Special in like new condition with upgraded 42 mm brass block. Vintage Grover mini tuners work excellent and are in great shape. Standard Stryker multi-ply body has plenty of scratches/scuffs and some very minor impressions, not really much as far as dings or any major damage- both sides of the neck pocket have very light finish stress marks. The electronics work as they should with one humbucker and two single coils. The humbucker can be split via a three-way parallel/series/single coil mini switch. The neck is the real star of the show! An excellent example of the early Kramer beak neck profile. Beautifully grained maple that only has one ding in it near the third fret on the back side and has a beautiful vintage gloss tint to it. The fingerboard is of nicely grained rosewood with some minor marks and impressions from playing but otherwise excellent shape as are the 22 medium jumbo frets which are nicely polished and the neck is straight with no truss rod issues. So even though the body has a lot of scuffs and play wear as does the pick guard, overall the guitar functions excellent. It'll probably need a good setting up as some of the upper frets have a little bit of buzz to them but that's expected for a guitar from 1985, not really noticeable especially amplified- it hasn't been played much since the '90s and the action is medium but I believe a lot of people are going to ditch the multi-ply body and use the excellent neck and Floyd Rose with 42 mm brass block and the Grover tuners which are in great perfectly solid stable condition. The Floyd Rose stays in tune really good and that's without any locking tuners! Overall it plays and sounds nice as it is but would also be a great mod platform. It's set up where you can pull it back about a pitch and a half. The guitar looks really nice has plenty of gloss and shine and like I mentioned earlier the maple neck is in nearly immaculate condition with virtually no noticeable fret wear- it has a nice comfortable profile. The guitar plays easy and note bends are smooth. The tremolo has been updated/upgraded to a modern Floyd Rose Special in like new condition with a 42 mm brass block upgrade. Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners in excellent shape with virtually no corrosion and working electronics include 1 Humbucker/2 Single coil Pickups w/ 5-Way switch & 1 volume & 2 tone controls.
