Bernardo Hurault was a priest who made a second life of translating the Bible around the world, including this Latin American issue as well as Tagalog, Cebuano, Ilongo, French, Chinese, and English! In all, he completed 10 full translations. This particular edition was published in 1990 shortly before his death and is revered as his crowning achievement: La Sagrata Biblia Latinoamericana: Biblia Católica, Apostólica y Romana.
