Description: FRENCH DRESSING!...1970s LANVIN, Paris modernist pendant necklace. Features a thick red and tortoiseshell Lucite and gold metal geometric pendant suspended from a trollbead type chain. (The chain in not removable from the frame). Heavy gold-plated base metal.The chain measures 25"L and fastens via a spring "O" clasp. The pendant measures 2 1/2" by 2".The pendant is signed LANVIN, PARIS on a metal hang tag.The necklace is in very good to excellent vintage condition with insignificant surface scuffs and minor gold-metal rubbing, primarily to the clasp rings.Lanvin Fashion House, which is the oldest fashion house still in operation, originated as a small hat shop.
