Description: A 7" tall rectangular-shaped clear-glass antique SNAKE OIL quack or patent medicine bottle. According to the label, this wasn't just any old snake oil, not even your run-of-the-mill snake oil, no, but it was the WORLD FAMOUS - DOUBLE STRENGTH - OLD FASHION Snake Oil! This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating back to the early 1900's. Label reads in part: "Old Fashion Snake Oil / WORLD FAMOUS - DOUBLE STRENGTH ... Address Orders to: C.F. SAMS 2715 E. Geer Street Durham, N.C." Condition: Bottle is in good clean condition. It has a trace of wear and haze - from age and use, but there isn't anything specifically wrong with the bottle itself. The label is aged and worn, has some spots of staining and/or fading, letter loss and light tattering but it is a complete, LEGIBLE and original label. Age: An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. early 1900's. Shipping: FREE domestic shipping.
