Description: Lobi tribe stool. Late 19th century. Made in Africa by the Lobi tribe. Lobi are from Ghana and Burkina Faso region. Hand carved out of solid piece of hardwood. The face represents a loved one and was highly coveted by its owner. 6 3/4 tall and 13 1/2 tall siting on its back legs. From head to back it’s 14 1/2”. The sitting surface is 5 3/4”. Gorgeous patina.
