Description: These rings are a great way to spruce up your miniature African violets. They are green plastic collars that slide up from the base of your flowerpot to the rim. A rubber band grips the rim of the flowerpot and holds the ring in place. The rings can easily be added to a plant that is already potted. The leaf support ring will gently hold the leaves and stems of your violet off of the rim of the flowerpot. This support will prevent the leaf stems from being damaged by the pot rim, and will also train the leaves into a more perfectly symmetrical pattern. There are three pegs on the lower surface of each ring. A rubber band hooks onto the three pegs creating a triangular opening. A 3” diameter pot is the largest that this size leaf support ring will fit. The pots in the photos are not included in the listing. New rubber bands and detailed instructions are included. Violet growers generally use these 6” leaf support rings on miniature African violets or on young standard sized violets still growing in pot no larger than 3” diameter.
