Description: Bert Grimm was an American tattoo artist dubbed the "grandfather of old school" Grimm's work and mentorship contributed to the development and popularity of the American Traditional tattoo style. He is said to have traveled with Buffalo Bills Wild West Show, tattooed Bonnie and Clyde and Pretty Boy Floyd, among others. This 11x15 sheet was discovered at a thrift store in 2017 with several others in Hillsboro Oregon, not far from Seaside where Bert had his last shop. The $200 price painted on the sheet which is the only one with a price on it I’ve ever seen, along with location denotes that this sheet was likely painted around 1980. Bert passed June 15th 1985 in Warrenton, Oregon. I will include copies of the original sale with photos of the other sheets that were in the lot. Also included is a business card that will make for a nice display. I’m not sure if the card is original or not so I’m throwing in for free. Any Questions please ask. Ships fully insured. Thanks for looking!
