The subject of this print is:Lenci Fadette and her smoking doll Unfortunately I have not been able to definitively determine who the woman is in this photo. I believe her name is Lenci Fadette and that she was a Ziegfeld Follies Girl back in the early 1900's. I have also found information on a highly collectible line of dolls produced in the same time frame called "Lenci Dolls' which MAY have been inspired by the doll in this photo. Please don't quote me on that, I am not 100% positive of this so don't accept this as fact. All I know is that I love this photo, she's scolding her doll for smoking a cigarette.
