Description: This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. There is texture and discoloration in the paint throughout. The paint is flaking off from the locomotive and tender. The exposed metal areas on the tender are rusted and show tarnish. There is wear & tarnish on the wheels and pickups from previous use. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. There is a short in the motor somewhere, causing the locomotive not to run. There are a few missing side rods and other accessories. This is a great candidate for a project train and is sold As-Is. This was the top-of-the-line train for 1935 and 1937. This engine features die-cast construction, metal trucks, metal wheels, and a link coupler.
