Description: Working small Hudson steam locomotive. Made in 1996 utilizing the postwar #646 tooling. Sharp red, white and blue color. This is not a black colored steam engine. It is a dark blue. Bench tests well running in forward and reverse. Smoke unit is the postwar-style “puffer” unit (not a fan unit) and functions. NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Trainz sold this to me as a serviced unit. They claimed it is a TMCC unit but I have ONLY tested this using analog control. Looking underneath it looks like the TMCC board may have been replaced because the mounting looks different than others I have seen. The switch under the cab roof should be a Command/Conventional switch. I could not get the switch to work as a directional lockout. However, what the switch does do is turn the smoke unit off and on. The rear cab handrails are missing. The marker lights have green jewels in the front-facing but are missing jewels in the side-facing. The video shows a missing white pin that holds the skirting to the front…the white pin is included. Trainz sold this to me as a serviced item but I cannot vouch that any command or TMCC feature works. It does work well in an analog/conventional manner. I am selling this as a conventional analog engine only with no guarantee of any command or TMCC feature included or working. Body has operational wear so please review all photos closely. A good engine for a postwar type layout or a conventional operator. No tender, box or paperwork is included. This is sold strictly as is for final sale and no return.
