Description: 1934 - Little Black Sambo is a sequel to the well-known story written about Sambo's clothes. He is forbidden to go outside in his Sunday clothes. In this story, instead of being saved by the Tiger, he is saved by an Elephant. A wonderful Paperback book with Illustrations by Nina Jordon. Little Black Sambo original story is loved by generations of children. First written in 1899, the story has become a childhood classic and the authorized American edition with the original drawings by the author has sold hundreds of thousands of copies. This is a wonderful collector's item. I acquired a large Doll collection, and this little book was among the items included with the dolls. The book is in good condition with a little wear around the cover. The condition is age and wear related. Research reflects a following in the Little Sambo books. I am pricing below market price. Good luck!
