On the 460T & 465T: An EXAMPLE would be: 209AD or 1AF2D This is your programming code. On the 493T: An EXAMPLE would be 322431A (It may or may not have an "A" at the end). This is your programming code. Once you have located your code, you can determine the correct traces to be cut on your new replacement remote below: STEP 2: Take the new remote apart with a small Phillips screwdriver and pry open the remote case carefully. Next, remove the battery and gently pull outwards on the circuit board to pop out the circuit board guts. Flip the circuit board over to reveal the trace numbers with either a group of five set of numbers ranging from 1, 2, 5, 6 or 2 rows of numbers ranging from 1 thru 12. After you have determine the correct traces to be cut, grab either a small, sharp flat tip Jewelers screw driver or a Dremel tool with a small cutter bit and carefully notch out each number trace as required by Step 1. Once done, double check your circuit board traces and assemble the remote back together and try on your alarm, remote starter or keyless system. If un-successful, take the remote apart again and recheck all the traces to insure that each cut has been completely interrupted. If un-sure on programming this remote, try locating a local electronics store or DE I Dealer for further help. PROGRAMMING METHOD #6 This type of alarm automatically enters transmitter programming mode upon power up. Before you begin, make sure that all points of entry (doors, trunk, hood) are closed. If there is a hood pin switch, have a friend hold it down or temporarily disconnect it. The system will not enter programming mode if it detects an open point of entry. The system should respond with a short siren chirp. 3) Repeat step 2 for each additional remote that is to operate the system. Note: the system will automatically exit programming mode if it detects a 15 second period of no activity. PROGRAMMING METHOD #7 Before you begin, your system must be in a disarmed state and you must know where your valet switch is located. If you are unfamiliar with your valet switch, click here. Note: the system will automatically exit programming mode if it detects a 15 second period of no activity. PROGRAMMING METHOD #8 Transmitters for this model alarm are coded from the factory. The transmitter has to be modified to match the code of your alarm. If you need a replacement transmitter for your alarm, you will need to open the transmitter shell (there is typically a small phillips head screw in the back that must be removed first). You will need to look on the circuit board for a white paper sticker that has a 5 or 6 digit code that will start with 1, 2, or 3. You will need to provide this code to your dealer or Omega at the time of purchasing the transmitter so it can be pre-coded to operate your alarm. Does this keyless remote entry come with a battery? Yes. It will have a working battery installed. Battery Condition: A. All remotes sold on Keyless4u include working batteries. B. Installed batteries are not tested for battery life- they are simply working. Some are new and some are used. Your vehicle will be installed with one of the following keyless entry systems: a. Standard Keyless Remote Packages: Installed at time of manufacture. b. Optional Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by a dealer. c. Aftermarket Keyless Remote Packages: Installed by previous owner or a car/audio shop. d. No remote keyless entry system at all. The above information can change which remote you need for your installed remote keyless system. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
