The framed wall plaques measures approx. 6” X 7 7/8” & 6” x 5 1/4” respectively and approx. 1 inch thick. European, late 19th Century. Carved ivorene relief of husband and wife in daily life. Signed by artist at bottom left corner, "C. F. Becker". Ivorene plaque encased in black and gold gilt painted wood frame. Original red velvet backing. Brass loop on back for hanging on the wall. Good antique condition. Shows wears commensurate with age. Light soiling and residue to surface of ivorene. See photos. Displays splendid!
