Description: This instrument was used for multiple shows at the Ahmanson theater in Los Angeles and also with a professional Symphony based in the Los Angeles area. I have now retired from performing and will be listing other percussion instruments over the next few weeks. This is a 1968 Ludwig Supraphonic Chrome 14" x 5" 10 lug Snare Drum (Serial as shown #652788). Considering this drum is over 50 years old it is in very good condition. Some minor pitting, mainly on the lug mountings. As shown in a pic it is missing the muffler. Also as shown in a pic there are two deeper scratches towards the bottom of the section directly to the right of the snare mechanism. I've included a pic of the date inside the drum. The year is less legible, but the serial number places it in 1968, so with an October 31st dating it could be a Halloween special for the buyer this year. Shipping will be $65.00 UPS continental USA.
