Description: These seeds were collected from Lupinus bicolor, also known as Dove Lupine, miniature lupine, Lindleys annual lupine, Annual Bicolor Lupine, and Pigmy-leaved Lupine. This plant likes to live in full sun to partial shade where it grows about a foot and a half high and has beautiful blue blossoms which are on display from the middle of spring until early summer. This plant is a larval host for the Lindseys Skipper butterfly. Lupinus in general is a larval host for the Queen Alexandras Sulphur, Western Sulphur, Afranius Duskywing, and Arrowhead Blue butterflies, and the Hystrichophora stygiana moth. This annual can be grown in all USDA Hardiness Zones.
