The thread color is Black. If you would like a different color of thread let me know, I will be happy to make a different color of thread I use cut away stabilizer. It is a permanent stabilizer it will remain forever affixed to the embroidery. It will provide permanent support for the design. I cut the stabilizer the same size as the cotton white fabric. I keep mine on when I make a quilt, But you can always cut it away If any problems please let me know, so I can fix it before you leave a feedback.
