Plant may be trimmed in order to fit in the mailing tube or box 36 inches. Plant have developed good root system and ready to be transplanted to the permanent location. Deciduous - It is dormant October to March - no leaves. This tree is often used as a screen to fence off properties as it is loaded with thorns. It is a rounded upright grower, and this is deciduous. They are hardy to at least USDA zone 5, and possibly colder. These plants would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
