What's Included1x 3D printed mount, 1x lanyard.Overview This product is designed to work with the Trek Integrated Light Mount (Trek model number W561410) which attaches to the seat post clamp on compatible Trek bicycles and usually holds the Bontrager Flare RT rear light. The Trek mount is easily sourced from your local Trek dealer and compatible with the MY19+ Madone SLR, MY20+ Domane SL/SLR & MY20+ Madone SL. The MagCAD and Trek mount together allow you to mount your Garmin Varia rear radar light underneath your Trek saddle neatly. The MagCAD mount also works with the Bontrager Blendr Saddle Accessory Mount (Trek model number 573143) to mount your Varia to compatible Bontrager saddles such as the Aeolus, Commuter Comp and Boulevard, which have two threaded inserts on the underside. A lanyard has been added to the design of the MagCAD mount as the Garmin Varia radar light itself has no loop to attach one. The lanyard adds extra security to your device and prevents you accidently dropping it when attaching/removing from your bike. Application The MagCAD mount clips into the Trek Mount in just the same way as a Bontrager Flare RT rear light. Simply push the two together until you hear a positive click. The Trek Integrated Light Mount is attached to your seat post by squeezing the clip over the rear seat post clamp. The Bontrager Blendr Saddle Accessory Mount is attached to your saddle with two M5 screws, supplied with the Bontrager mount. Secure your Varia by attaching the supplied lanyard to a saddle rail, then attach your Varia to the MagCAD mount with a quarter turn motion. MaterialMagCAD Mounts are 3D printed in Nylon PA12. However these are not your typical home 3D printers. Following a process of SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) on industrial size printers, costing anything above £100k, the resulting mounts have fantastic resolution and refinement. The surface finish is slightly rough with a matte effect and the performance of the mounts are comparable to injection moulded parts.
