Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Thanks for looking at The Magnet Levitator! Beautifully finished out of solid oak hardwood, this science demonstration apparatus is designed to showcase the property known as Diamagnetism, a force which repels magnetism. Diamagnetism is shown by the levitation – or ‘floating’- of a super strong Neodymium Magnet between two mounted wafers of Pyrolytic Graphite, among the most diamagnetic material available. It is fully assembled and ready to display right out of the box. The Magnet Levitator is adjusted by twisting and wiggling the three arms of the unit into a desired position. The natural snug fit of the arms ensures the arm positions will stay-put until you decide to move them again. Each Magnet Levitator is pre-adjusted prior to shipment, so in most cases the magnet will levitate as soon as your shipment arrives. If not, adjustments are easy and only take a minute or two. Blow through the included straw to spin the floating magnet to a blur in mid-air for several minutes! A very cool display which requires no electricity or outside energy of any kind! The Magnet Levitator is both art and science. It is a sculpture of planes, contours and edges which floats magnets in mid air. Its only purpose in the world is to look cool on your desk and to perform brilliantly when you want to be amazed! Includes explanation, instructions and everything needed for effective and thought-provoking demonstrations! About 6 inches tall, it imparts a solid feeling of quality when lifted. Signed and dated by the craftsman. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A SHIPPING CHARGE QUOTE!! :-)
