Description: 1928 Lyon and Healy C Melody Saxophone. With some research, It appears that Lyon and Healy was not the manufacturer and the huge famous music store Lyon and Healy purchased the instruments from Martin and added their own insignia. Almost 100 years old and a very cool piece of history. I took it to my local music store today and they said everything was in great shape, the only thing they would recommend would be a minor alignment/adjustment, which would be recommended after shipping an instrument like this anyways. I believe everything is original except the mouthpiece. I was told even the case was original. Metal Mouthpiece was purchased from Aquilasax. I am not sure if they are still around, but it has less than an couple hours of playing time. Beautiful to look at and play.
