Description: May 8, 1945 VE Day Newspaper & Victory in Europe Edition from the Manchester Union, a New Hampshire publication. Good to very good condition for age as shown - photos are of the exact lot of papers available for sale. Some age related discoloration to pages. Some perforations at creases generally not too severe but there is a decent hole in the "A" in "WAR" in the "Victory Edition". A few papers have some mis-foldings and odd creases but overall these have been kept fairly well. Some small tears and chipping to sides. I believe these are mostly full or full papers; "Victory in Europe Edition" is undated so perhaps it came as an insert. There is an original sticker of the cover with the name of the person who's estate this came from (he fought in WWII in the Navy).Please let me know if you have any questions prior to purchase.
